The Tampa Museum of Art announces the opening of In a New Light: American Impressionism 1870–1940, Works from the Bank of America Collection, on view from August 7 through November 30, 2025. This sweeping exhibition brings together over 100 works by more than 75 artists to explore the evolution and uniquely American adaptation of Impressionism. The exhibition showcases the diversity, beauty, and depth of regional art colonies across the country, from New Hope and Taos to Carmel and Cape Ann.

Santa Fe Art Auction’s annual Native Market sale will be held this year from August 12th through 14th, prior to SWAIA’s Santa Fe Indian Market—a vibrant, renowned annual event and the largest market for Indigenous art in the world. Native Market will feature many fine works by Pueblo and Indigenous artists, spanning from traditional pieces from the mid-nineteenth century to contemporary art from Native artists practicing today, many of whom have exhibited and won awards at Indian Market.

Delmas Howe: The Lithographs, opens on Saturday, July 12, from 6 to 9 pm, at RioBravoFineArt, 110 North Broadway, Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. This show includes a complete inventory of Howe’s lithographs plus a limited number of some never-before exhibited sketches from the RioBravoFineArt archives. Although Howe’s lithographs are a lesser-known part of an oeuvre that is almost exclusively painted canvas, his lithographs include some of his most iconic images.

Munson Museum of Art in Utica, N.Y., presents the extraordinary artwork of contemporary artist Karen LaMonte, one of the most celebrated sculptors of our time, in a comprehensive exhibition, Celestial Bodies: Sculpture by Karen LaMonte, now on view through Dec. 31, 2025. Celestial Bodies will explore LaMonte’s career working in diverse mediums to create award-winning sculptures in porcelain, bronze, glass, and stone.

This summer, Meyer Gallery presents four solo exhibitions by Eric G. Thompson, Milt  Kobayashi, William C. Hook, and Francis Livingston. Each show highlights a painter whose  work is grounded in technical command, formal clarity, and a sustained engagement with their  subject. Opening receptions for each exhibition will be held on the first day of the show from 4  to 6 PM at the gallery.

The exhibition features 40 mixed media works by internationally celebrated artists and brothers Einar and Jamex de la Torre.  

203 Fine Art and the Estates of Lee Mullican & Luchita Hurtado present a selection of paintings from the 1950s by the celebrated Taos Modern, Lee Mullican (1919-1998). These abstracted paintings, dated 1956 to 1958, were created shortly after Mullican’s move to Los Angeles, marking a subtle yet striking shift in his practice.
