150 years after Edward S. Curtis' birth, his haunting portraits of Native Americans have an indelible place in the American consciousness. This major exhibition of more than 100 works by Curtis, as well as contemporary works by indigenous artists Marianne Nicolson, Tracy Rector, and Will Wilson seeks to evaluate this photographic legacy from 21st-century perspectives.

Double Exposure is presented as part of a community-wide initiative revisiting the photographs of Edward S. Curtis and sparking conversations on Native identity, race and resilience, art and culture.
