On October 6, Christie’s will offer a melange of artwork spanning a variety of periods including post-war, contemporary, Impressionist and modern in a hybrid-style auction, conducted both live and live-streamed, from the saleroom at Christie’s Rockefeller Center. The sale kicks off a series of “20th Century” sales ahead of the auction house’s traditional marquee sale week in November. And to push boundaries a step further, the auction house is even offering one of the largest complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeletons to ever come to auction.
