John Mazlish's artistic passion lies in revealing the unique beauty in simple moments and places, influenced by his mother’s keen sense of color, shape, mood, and light. He began his creative career as a musician but felt an intuitive connection between music and photography upon picking up his first camera. Starting with photographing local NYC musicians, he expanded to a wide range of portraiture and events, always aiming for freshness, spontaneity, and risk-taking in his work. In recent years, his focus has shifted to fine art photography, capturing unique elements of light, water, and seasonal changes, with a particular passion for fine art nudes. He also created his own art gallery, MazlishGallery.com, where his photos, especially those printed on dye sublimated aluminum, are showcased for their vivid color and life. Mazlish aims to bring peace, color, excitement, and beauty to living and working spaces through his photography.
