Known for his appropriation of iconic cultural images, Kelley Walker examines a circulation and consumption of visual culture using techniques of collage, screen-printing, sculpture, and installation. His work has been the subject of numerous one-person exhibitions both within the U.S. and abroad, including a museum retrospective at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis in 2016. Walker's gestures mimic violence, merging ethical corruption with graffiti and pop art.
