Paris Photo opens this weekend for the 21st year. Running November 9th through the 12th at the Grand Palais, Paris Photo is the premier international art fair devoted to photography. Over 150 galleries and publishers will be exhibiting, with accompanying lectures, conversations, and book signings. This year, the fair debuts a new exhibition of film and video art.

Paris Photo 2017 is boasting two major celebrity appearances. The first is from iconic fashion designer and photographer Karl Lagerfeld, who has created a curated list of his favorite works at the fair. A map featuring these works is available, and accompanying book will be published.

Another style icon, author and musician Patti Smith, has served as curator for the Gagosian Gallery at the fair this year. The New York Times joined her for a tour, which can be viewed here.

The Grand Palais is on Avenue Winston Churchill in Paris and is open 12:00-8:00 pm from Thursday, November 9th to Saturday, November 11th, and 12:00-7:00 pm on Sunday, November 12th.

Tickets are available here.
