Shirley Harryman

Shirley Harryman’s work captures moments from her daily life and travels that evoke timelessness, introspection, and a touch of mystery. A native of Kansas City, Missouri, and a lifelong artist, designer, and photographer, she has served as an experiential graphic designer at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art since 2007. The featured images are from her series Byways of Enchantment, showcasing magical moments from her travels, and Once Upon a Time, a collection of cherished family memories.
