Donald Sultan (b. 1951) is an American artist who is most known for his use of industrial materials as a median of production. These materials often include tar, enamel, and tiles. Sultan creates life-size works of art that depict repetition of everyday objects such as flowers, lemons, and eggs. Often referenced as "still life," the artist regards them as abstract.
