About The Artist
Nicholas (Nick) Leibee, a lifelong resident of Volusia County, Florida, currently resides in DeLand with his wife and two children. His appreciation for realistic drawing has been a constant, but it was his sophomore year at Stetson University that marked his first significant engagement with oil painting, mentored by Professor Gary Bolding. At the time, Bolding, a realist painter, profoundly influenced Nick's artistic style and identity. Nick completed his education at Stetson in 2002, earning double majors in Digital Arts and Fine Arts. He initially pursued a career as a full-time Graphic Designer until 2017, and has since dedicated himself to being a full-time painter and freelance designer.
