An Impressionist-style rendering of a grove of pine trees on a hillside by a beach, by a Ukrainian artist whose name I cannot make out on the back of the canvas (shown) and signed on the front - we bought a batch of nice paintings from Ukraine - so I have listed it as "artist unknown." Look at the closeup photo and you will see the how the painter was able to blend bold daubs of paint expertly so that close-up it's hard to know the subject, but as you back away the landscape becomes clear - as a skillful Impressionist can do.
